Had Hitler Not Killed The German Cricket Team, Would Cricket Be Played In Germany Today?

I heard a story that Hitler did watch a test match of 5 days and on learning that its been a draw he metaphorically 'killed' the team by pulling the plug and saying something to the effect, 'We have more useful things to do with out time'.

Is also alleged that Hitler wanted some changes in the laws of the game. He advised use a bigger ball in cricket. He advocated the withdrawal of the use of pads. These artificial 'bolsters' he dismissed as unmanly and un-German.

CQ: Which country you would love to see play cricket as their prime sports? I want KSA to step into cricket as it would allow a large flow of money into the game.

I said I'm not sure of the authenticity of the news. I just received it in a mail. Sorry if the question has offended you by any means

Yes,even I heard this story............................
According to the site of the German Cricket Association (Deutscher Cricket Bund), cricket has been played in Germany since the 1850s. In 1945, there was a total of four clubs left (all in Berlin), and cricket wasn't really heard of until the 1980s, when it was established as a team sport at several German universities. Subsequently, the German Cricket Association was founded in 1988. Today, the German Association is an Associate Member of the ICC and (according to the German Wikipedia site) ranked 18th in the World.
Yes I want China to step into cricket.Bigger market and Cricket will become more popular in the world.
